The New Year is in full swing and we couldn’t be more excited for what this means for Ontario’s Highlands. We’ve entered 2017: The Year of Come Wander.
This year we’ll be transitioning from traditional marketing tactics to fully embrace a content marketing approach designed to engage audiences and inspire visitation to Ontario’s Highlands. We look forward to the potential an ‘always on’ approach has to engage and continuously share the stories of the region.
To help guide our efforts, we’ve made three New Year’s Resolutions:
- Make new friends: You can never have too many friends. This year, we’ll be seeking out influencers in the media and social media world who connect with our wandering ideology and inviting them to discover their inner wanderers in Ontario’s Highlands. We’re looking to kick off an influencer program as a way to engage new audiences and share the stories of our region.
- Get organized: By now you’ve probably noticed that a large part of our plan involves developing content to support the Come Wander ideology. With all of the photos, videos, and digital assets that we’re creating, we need an organized way of storing, sorting, and sharing these, and we’ll be using Cleanpix to help us do this. Stay tuned for future announcements of how you can access and utilize Come Wander imagery.
- Be more active: We’ve already mentioned the ‘always on’ approach we’ll be taking to continuously share content throughout the year, but we want to make sure we’re ‘always on’ with you as well. We’ll be sharing more details on how you can feed into Come Wander moving forward, and encouraging two-way communication. Have a new product, event, or experience you’re planning? We want to hear about it! Please feel free to reach out throughout the year to keep us in the loop with what you have going on in your business or organization and we’ll be sure to do the same.
