With our focus shifting from traditional forms of marketing towards a content marketing approach, we strive to create and distribute creative, engaging content that connects people with Ontario’s Highlands, the ideology of Come Wander, and inspires them to visit.
We’re thrilled to announce the completion of the Come Wander Content Guide. This guide has been created to provide support for partners, third-party influencers, and media, looking to develop content that is aligned with the region’s Come Wander brand platform, is effective at enticing visitors to the area, and can easily be distributed through digital channels to encourage user engagement.
Words have power, but how do we harness that power? How do we create content that connects with visitors? That inspires them to embrace their inner wanderer?
It’s not enough to just use keywords; we need to create stories and content that engages. The written and visual representation of the Come Wander brand needs to capture the moment of experiencing something for the first time. It needs to stimulate the senses and capture an emotion – not just an observation. In other words, the emphasis on written content should be placed on communicating the emotion attached to an activity, rather than the activity itself.
